Gulu Short Term Trip – 2022
Many of you have heard about our ‘going’ to Gulu, Uganda for many years. NTC first got involved in the area in 2010 and purchased 20 acres of land in 2012. Here is your opportunity to see first hand what God is doing in this part of the world and to be a part of what He has NTC doing. From working with local churches in the area and supporting the works they are doing, to visiting NTC’s land and doing what might be needed on it, to going out on the streets of Gulu to share God’s love, to visiting with some children we have been supporting … there is a wide variety of activities we will be participating in… All in an effort to be a blessing, share God’s love, learn and gain wisdom and strength for the work God has for us around the world and here in Massena, NY.
This short term missions trip is $2200/p with the majority of this covering transportation and lodging. Food while in Africa is also covered but food while traveling is the responsibility of each individual. A $100 non refundable fee secures your spot on the team. The rest of the fee is due two months before departure. If money is an issue please know we have fundraising opportunities and don’t want this alone to stand in your way. If you are not able to make it this time we hope you will look for other opportunities in the future!
Some commonly asked questions are about what is needed for practical planning. Apply for your passport as soon as possible and double check a current one won’t expire shortly. Visa requirements and detail travel requirements will be given to you once flights are secured. Vaccines: Yellow Fever, Typhoid and Malaria medication…please contact your doctor & insurance for your best path to get these. There will also be required covid testing, these are all outside of the fee to NTC should they cost you.
