Our Story

In 1980, New Testament Church was planted out of Christian Fellowship Center in Madrid. It began by couples meeting in some homes and made a couple moves before it reached the property we own on Andrew St. in 1982, where our first building was built. In 1987, NTC did a large addition with the “new” building for a larger sanctuary and better space needed for various reason. That 1987 structure is currently under a renovation project to make its space even more useful for our children’s ministry and meeting spaces.

NTC was a church plant and has always been a “church planting” church. We have started and participated in 7 different church plants over the years and are in the process of starting a church in Plattsburgh. We believe God has work for us to do and our heart is to partner with Christ in reaching others with the life changing message of the Gospel.

Our services

Our services are about 1 hour and 45 minutes long, starting at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. Be sure to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so you have time to park and stop by our cafe on your way in.

The service begins with lively, contemporary music and continues with announcements followed by a brief time to greet those around you and concludes with a relevant and life-filled presentation from the Bible.

Attire

NTC has no dress code, which is fully apparent when you see everything from jeans to suits most Sunday mornings.
